Booking

Our Clinics at Poole Ferry Port can now be booked by calling 119 or visiting www.nhs.uk.

You do not need to wait for the Practice to contact you, and if you receive a letter from NHS England then you can book at Poole Ferry Port by calling 119 or going online.

Eligibility

All adults over 18, and children aged 16 and 17 are eligible to receive the primary course (first and second doses) of Covid Vaccine, and can book by calling 119 or going online.

Adults over 50 or those aged 18 and over and at increased risk can also book their Covid Booster for at least 6 months after receiving their second dose, by calling 119 or going online. Patients in these groups should receive an invitation from NHS England when eligible, but you can call 119 to check if you’re not sure when that will be.

Children aged 12-15 who are at increased risk will be invited by the Practice to book. If a parent has an enquiry about this, please email [email protected]

All other 12-15 year olds will be vaccinated by the School Age Immunisation Service led by Dorset Healthcare Trust and parents will be contacted separately about this, but if you have any queries about this programme, you can get in touch with by calling 01425 891162 or emailing [email protected]. More information can be found on the following page: School Age Immunisation Service

How to access your COVID-19 vaccination status

You can access your COVID-19 vaccination status through the free NHS App. You can access the app through mobile devices such as a smartphone or by tablet. Proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status will be shown within the NHS App. We recommend that you register with the app before booking international travel.

If you do not have access to a smartphone and know that the country you are travelling to requires COVID-19 vaccination status, you can call the NHS helpline on 119 and ask for a letter to be posted to you. This must be at least 5 days after you’ve completed your course of the vaccine. We expect the letter to take up to 5 days to reach you.

Please do not contact your GP surgery about your COVID-19 vaccination status. GP Practices cannot provide letters showing your COVID-19 vaccination status.
