Getting diagnosed with asthma is not always straightforward. There is no single test that gives a simple “yes” or “no” answer.
Instead, getting a diagnosis is like “Connecting the Dots” to build a complete picture of your breathing.
Your story and your experience are the most important dots in the picture.
The process always starts with us listening to you. To build the picture, we need to know:
To confirm the diagnosis, we use simple, painless breathing tests to measure how well your lungs are working.
1. Spirometry
2. FeNO Test
Once we have all this information, we look at the dots together. If your story matches the test results, we can confirm the diagnosis and start a treatment plan.
If you have been having symptoms like coughing, wheezing, or breathlessness that you think could be asthma, please do not ignore them.
