We approach management using three main types of tools, used either alone or in combination.
Often the starting point. This usually involves anti-inflammatory painkillers, but we can also discuss other specific types of pain relief tailored to your needs.
Endometriosis tissue grows in response to your menstrual cycle. We can use hormones to calm this process down.
A laparoscopy, the same keyhole surgery used for diagnosis, can be used to treat the condition.
It can take time to find the right balance, and your needs may change over the years.
