Yes. The team will still check important parts of your asthma review, look at how your asthma is doing and review your treatment.
Your symptoms, triggers and inhalers may be different from somebody else’s. The clinic is not about giving everyone the same answers.
Other people can ask questions that may be useful to you too. These might be about exercise, pollen, inhalers or what to do when asthma starts getting worse.
Somebody may also ask something you had not thought of yourself. Their question can still help you think about what matters for your own asthma.
No. You choose what you feel comfortable sharing with the group. If you would rather listen, that is fine.
If there is something specific to you that you do not want to raise with everyone else, you can let the team know.
No. You do not need to arrive knowing what you want to ask. If you already have a question about your asthma, bring it with you; if not, that is fine too.
Bring all the inhalers you are currently using.
If you use a spacer, bring that with you too.
Bring any question you already have about your asthma, if there is something you want to ask.
